"We are thrilled to invite Minnesota’s amazing Latin performing artists to proudly shine on Valleyfair’s stage,” said Raul Rehnborg, Valleyfair’s vice president and general manager. “Latin Days is one of our favorite events here at the park and we can’t wait for all our guests to experience this unforgettable weekend.”

The Latin Days events kick off at 11 a.m. with a bright, sunny Mariachi welcome to the park. The rest of the day swirls with rhythms and melodies from the Caribbean, Latin America, and Afro-Latino-Indigenous music and dance. Saturday’s headliner María Isa is a Boricua (BO-REE-KWA) singer, songwriter, actress, rapper, activist, youth worker, and international recording artist who was raised with influences of many different Afro-Latino-Indigenous rhythms. She is from St. Paul’s West Side barrio and her music has been heard on several networks, including NBC, ABC, MTV, STARZ, and Telemundo. Sunday’s headliner Malamanya is an American band which focuses on traditional rhythms and melodies from the Caribbean and Latin America. Their onstage energy reflects the communal, complex, and celebratory spirit.
