SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO SURPRISES FANS ON FRIDAY THE 13TH WITH HOWL-O-SCREAM SNEAK PEEKS AND PERKS

SAN DIEGO (Aug. 13, 2021) – SeaWorld San Diego is sharing a Friday the 13th fright and flash with a reveal of the second haunted house that is part of the park’s upcoming and inaugural Howl-O-Scream nighttime event. The new evening event will have guests trembling with terror as they enter horrifying haunted houses, step upon seven themed scare zones, and escape large and small roaming hordes. Thrill-seekers can scream with delight on riding coasters in the dark, quench their thirst for fear at multiple interactive bars, and be entertained by live thrilling music and more! 

Howl-O-Scream takes place select nights Friday, September 17 through Sunday, October 31. During the Howl-O-Scream 24-hour flash sale on Friday the 13th, guests can secure admission to this separate-ticketed event for up to 75% off savings for one day only.

Howl-O-Scream joins the park’s already impressive fall line-up of events including the return of family-friendly Halloween Spooktacular, included with park admission, which boasts daytime trick or treating for kids of all ages.  Spooky fun for the entire family with Spooktacular during the day and terrifying thrills by night with the launch of Howl-O-Scream make SeaWorld San Diego the place to be this Halloween season.  The park’s daytime Halloween Spooktacular is included with park admission.

Following SeaWorld’s reveal of the Nightmare Experiment haunted house, details on the second house were released by the park today leaving guests frightened for days to come! Guests that dare to enter Simon’s Slaughterhouse will be scared by the sights and sounds of knives, blades and more! The meat-packing plant has been taken over by the animals. Simon the Butcher will have guests in his view. Within the house, horrors are hiding throughout a grisly maze. With one wrong turn, attendees may navigate the wrong direction and end up the next specimen. Simon says the only way out is through the butcher’s blades!

Friday the 13th One Day Only Flash Sale – Ends at Midnight

Dare to not be superstitious and plan ahead for fun and fear! For one day only, SeaWorld San Diego is offering the lowest prices of the season. Guests can purchase four Howl-O-Scream single night tickets for $99, only $24.75 each per ticket – up to 75% savings! Guests must purchase at least four tickets to receive the limited-time discount, which applies to additional tickets if purchased in the same order. Tickets can be used on any event night from September 17 to October 31. Drop-dead prices this low won’t last long – the deal expires at 11:59 P.M. on Friday, August 13.

Scary Good Offer for New Hires

To prep for the ghoulish evenings, SeaWorld San Diego has a variety of positions available including scare squad performers, make-up artists and stage managers. For a limited time, the park is providing a $500 hiring bonus for applicants that secure a position for Howl-O-Scream and a $100 referral fee for employees that refer a friend or foe to join the Halloween crew.
