Guests will be immediately immersed in the Halloween fun as they enter the park. Midway Stage sits adorned with Patch, our giant Jack o’ Lantern as the event’s centerpiece of all festivities. During the day, it is a picturesque family backdrop perfect for capturing fall-inspired memories. As dusk approaches, guests will be dazzled as Patch awakens with two original enchanting shows, Patch’s Halloween Bash and The Costume Contest. Guests can participate in our new Ding Dong DOOM! scavenger hunt throughout the park for prizes.

From there, guests may choose their path to the festive Lands of Treats or one of the mischievous Lands of Tricks, each with its own blend of mystery and fun. The Lands of Treats includes Everfall and Sweet Tooth Acres, both rich with joyful memories of bonfires, a bevy of creative crafts in a new central location, Halloween sweets and pumpkin-spiced fall feels. The sweet Fun Sized Four barbershop quartet will warm your heart. For those looking for more mischievous fun, the Lands of Tricks offers Spooky Spires and Ickyville. These playful areas will have guests drawn to a splat-tastic monster party and an eerie classical speakeasy populated by gothic surprises. New this year is the Ghoulish Glowfest and Skelebration DJ party, both of which will put a spell on your spooky little soul.

Tricks and Treats is debuting a walk-through attraction—the Enchanté Soirée at the Chateau. Every fall, when the Harvest Moon is high in the sky, the two French sister witches open the doors to their Chateau for the annual Enchanté Soirée. Guests will be spellbound as they make their way through this spirited estate filled with magic and mystery.

“We are excited to welcome back families to Tricks and Treats this year after immense success last year,” stated Valleyfair General Manager Raul Rehnborg. “This year we hope everyone enjoys our fabulous four lands plus our exciting new experiences. Bring your little ghouls, your teenage vampires, the grand-mummies, and yourselves and make new, unforgettable memories together.”

Halloween is for everyone at Valleyfair’s Tricks and Treats event, which runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 23 through October 29 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is included with regular park admission. The park’s popular rides and attractions will also be open for thrill seekers to enjoy. To increase safety and provide efficient entry into the park during Tricks and Treats, guests will be asked to adhere to our bag policy which states that no bags of any kind larger than 6.5” x 4.5” x 2” may be brought into the park after 6 p.m. during Tricks and Treats nights. All bags will be subject to search.
