Hersheypark Cranes New Comet Trains Onto Track For Spring Opening

Release from Hersheypark:

The beautiful weather in Hershey, Pa., is a sure sign that roller coaster riding season at Hersheypark is almost here!

The largest amusement park in Pennsylvania has been working all winter to prepare for its 118th operating year kicking off on March 29 - the earliest opening date ever. This week, the Hersheypark maintenance team is craning the roller coaster cars, including the new Comet trains, back onto the coaster tracks using a massive crane.
